Biography

I'm Lori. I already told you that, didn't I? I teach reading and English to special ed middle schoolers. I'm 31(ish). I put it that way not because I am not currently 31, but because I am not very good about updating these things. The day will most likely come when I will be older than 31 and I still won't change it.

In addition to the things listed in my sidebar, I like cheese, shoes, hyperbole, coffee, chocolate, autumn, vodka, travel, and good grammar. I dislike mushrooms, baseball, horror movies, local news, and enthusiasm. I can't catch. I'm not good in social situations involving strangers. I know a lot about phonics and constitutional law. I don't believe in worrying or making the bed and very rarely do either. I am almost always cold and perpetually ten minutes late.

I am a liberal, an aunt, and a little bit of a gypsy. I've moved roughly fifteen times since college. I've lived in Wisconsin (Janesville, Whitewater, and Madison), Virginia (DC suburbs), New York (City), and Texas (Austin and San Antonio). I hate moving, but I'm also not partial to staying in one place too long. Or else I just haven't found the right place yet. I don't know.

I try to update here a couple of times a week. I am also on the Twitter.
