Political Geek HQ right down the street.  And so pretty!

Who needs DC?  You know, daffodil-wise.

Sunny, 70s, with a nice breeze off the water?  Don't mind if I do.

Could somebody bring me an iced mocha and maybe massage my shoulders?  Because I think this day could get a tiny bit more perfect.

I was going to take a photo for you of a cloud that looked like a Snork, but my camera battery died, so you'll just have to use your imagination.

Admit it, you'd decide to stay here too.

That's right - for the forseeable future, I live in Madison.  The first person to use the word "snow" gets punched in the eye.

SNOWSNOWSNOWSNOWSNOW-- hehehehehehe
what, I will be dealing with non-stop rain, so who is worse off?? Maybe when I get there for Christmas, we can go sledding or else stay inside and order Toppers and look outside at the pretty snow!!

I'm always amazed by how similar Madison is to DC, architecturally speaking. But, um, yes, the weather -- especially the snowfall amounts -- is quite different.

It's a lovely 96 out today here in South Texas. I know you miss it so!

Wow, I had no idea Madison was so pretty. Or maybe it is your lovely photography.

I will have to come visit. You like letting people from the computer crashing on your Ty Pennington couch, right?

Oh, I miss Madison so much. Have you been to the Farmer's Market on Saturday morning? The art fair is this weekend, isn't it? *sigh* Please enjoy my home town since I am unable to do so except vicariously through your blog.

Gah! How do you DO that? "Madison is pretty. I think I will live here now." Gah! Your laidback-ness is making me feel a need to plan just to compensate for it. The thought of moving to a different cubicle get me all aflutter. Although, I will admit that those pictures are so pretty that I can see why you want to stay. (Despite, you know... SNOW!)

(I realize this kind of sounds insulting, but it's totally not meant to me. I am merely jealous of your ability to do things like move! To Wisconsin! Without having eleventy trillion meltdowns and lists and whatnot. Very jealous!)

'Tis beautiful! And it is effing HOT down here in Texas. You are missing absolutely nothing.

*whisper* snow.

Yeah, seriously. I live in the northern! Pacific Northwest and we've been seriously baking on 100+ for the past week and a half. Cool front? Some breeze even? Yes, please.

(I miss D.C. I'm glad it was a lovely day.)

It looks lovely. Pretty is one thing. Cold is another. I've lived in beauty my whole life but I'd swap the weather for most things. The clouds will get old and my sun-tan will deepen. And it doesn't even snow that much in England either!
