A while back, Nick Douglas announced on Twitter that he was compiling a Twitter book and asked for permission to use tweets in it. I was not at all certain that he'd want any of mine, but I gave him the go-ahead anyway and it appears that one or more is in the book. I have no idea which or how many.
Here's the book:
The thing is, The Twitter is not just good for a laugh. Sometimes The Twitter is good for doing real, tangible good. A fellow Twitterer, Josh Hopkins, has a baby girl, Lucy Kate, with serious medical problems. She has recently had heart surgery, which has taken a financial toll on the family, as well as the obvious huge emotional toll.
Various Twitter folks have put together and spread the word about efforts to help the family. This includes Rod Knowlton, who set up this Amazon store where you can buy the Twitter Wit book and a portion of the proceeds go to Team Lucy Kate. So if you're interested in the book, you may as well buy it there and help out some nice people and one adorable baby girl.
(Just in case it got lost among all of those links, this is the link to the store where you can buy the book and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Team Lucy Kate.)
