I hadn't realized that I've been doing this for five years until I went to type in Fourth Annual Edition, only to find that I'd already used that title. If you're interested, you can click here for the other four posts. Items are, as always, in no particular order:
Chipotle's burrito bowl, which really ought to contain rice, chicken, pico, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce for maximum deliciousness.
Chipotle/Target/Carino's Friday nights
My family, particularly its littlest members
A job I love with a great boss and kooky kids who crack me up
Health insurance (and feeling hopeful that millions of others might have a chance to also have it soon)
Adderall and not having to feel like this very often anymore
My friend and coworker Kristen, who is the most together person on the planet and thus my polar opposite. She at least acts like she doesn't mind reminding me about things like meetings and (I swear this is true) going to pick up my meds after school
Two great roommates, Holly and Jenny, and many self-portrait-worthy occasions with them in the past year.
Singing in the car, whether alone or accompanied by one or more of the above-mentioned friends.
Special Agent Seeley Booth. Also TNT, for putting him on several times a night. Putting it on, I mean. The show. Which I'm told is actually called Bones and not Booth. Weird.
Getting to see the Packers several times this year, even if a couple of those were televised because they were against the Vikings and turned out to be highly disappointing games.
It's almost Christmas, which for those of you who are new around here, I LOVE. Andy Williams was correct. It is indeed the most wonderful time of the year. Except maybe for summer vacation. I don't care how many lights you string up, two weeks off cannot compete with two and a half months off.
Opportunities and excuses to travel several times this year. A year that involves multiple plane rides is a good year in my book.
Having had a good year for that and many other reasons.
Friends to visit this week in DC (Katie, Chrystal, Caroline, Francine, Karin, and Amy) and on a side trip to NJ (Sharon and Eili)
Oh, and this guy:
And you, of course. Happy Thanksgiving everybody!
