It's been a long time since I did one of these. But I do, in fact, still love things. Here are some of them:
The changing leaves. I can see red, orange, yellow and green right outside my classroom window.
A four day weekend from students
We have to go in on Monday, but get the whole day to get end of quarter paperwork done, meaning a lot less stress for all of us over the past week
Gregory Peck (Why yes, we did watch some To Kill a Mockingbird in class this week)
Spirit Week at school. Can you say pajama day?
Raj's current class with its cushy short hours that have allowed us to spend a lot of time together this month and him to get some well-deserved rest and free time before he heads back into rotations.
Jon Stewart and Stephen Colbert
Living in the DC area so I am able to go to the Rally to Restore Sanity/Fear on Saturday
The Exquisite Corpse Adventure, an online book written by various children's authors that can be read and/or listened to. It's quirky and funny and totally free.
The quiche that Raj and I invented last Saturday: eggs, spinach, tomato, garlic, red onion, bleu cheese, and bacon. Have Raj make a crust and then pile so much of everything in there that it's about to run over. Bake. Eat. Thank me.
Then tell us what you love this week.
