Raj and I have been looking on Craig's List for a new dinette set. My industrial-style table, while fun, really only works for two people sitting at right angles. It's too narrow to easily accommodate people sitting across from one another. And since we might want to invite one or more people to eat with us, a bigger table seems like a good idea.
I've mentioned before how there seem to be code words on Craig's List. Vintage = old. Comfortable = has been in my parents' basement since 1979. Worn = broken, stained, and/or torn up by one or more animals.
While looking at tables, Raj noticed the word "gorgeous" associated with more than one crime against home furnishing. So he searched for postings including that word under furniture. Which is how we've just managed to furnish our castle.
No, I am not using "castle" in the "a man's home is his castle" sense. I mean the literal castle we will need to purchase in order to properly house these gorgeous items.
Isn't Sir Smidgy the gorgeousiest pigmy knight you've ever seen? He'll be there to welcome you when you come to visit us at our castle. You can dine at our gorgeous table! We'll just need to find some appropriately gorgeous guest room furnishings before you can stay the night.
