Enough of this gratitude crap. Let's talk about what I don't have. Yet.
-The ability to fly/teleport or a magic carpet so I can visit people and places at will.
-Just one more closet
-While I'm at it, a half-bath
-Two specific students to recognize that their terrible attitudes are negatively affecting their own ability to learn as well as that of their classmates.
-The strength not to strangle either between now and June 14.
-To know with absolute certainty that, had we lived in the same century, Jane Austen would have been my BFF.
-Another Packers Superbowl win
-Some TOMS. I think. Maybe red? I can't decide.
-Chocolate not to have so terribly many calories. Ditto cheese, bread, butter, and cream.
-Some snow days, but not so many that we have to make them up. LOTS and LOTS of two hour delays.
-To somehow be ready for a January half-marathon without having to do the ten, eleven, and twelve mile training runs.
-A new Ingrid Michaelson album to come out. (OH WAIT THAT'S HAPPENING IN JANUARY.)
-Chocolate-covered George Clooney
-To get to hug a polar bear. Really most kinds of bears would work. Not Bear Grylls though. That guy is probably filthy.
Don't make me look greedy alone, Internet. The world is your pretend oyster. What do you want?
