Biography

I'm Lori. I already told you that, didn't I? I teach reading to learning disabled middle and high schoolers. I'm 35(ish). I put it that way not because I am not currently 35, but because I am not very good about updating these things. The day will most likely come when I will be older than 35 and I still won't change it.

In addition to the things listed in my sidebar, I like cheese, shoes, hyperbole, coffee, chocolate, autumn, vodka, travel, and good grammar. I dislike mushrooms, baseball, horror movies, local news, and genocide. I can't catch. I'm not good in social situations involving strangers. I know a lot about phonics and constitutional law. I don't believe in worrying or making the bed. I am almost always cold and perpetually ten minutes late.

I am a liberal, a runner, an aunt, and a wife. I'm married to Raj, who is pretty much my favorite person ever and whose career in the Navy works out well with my chosen lifestyle of being semi-nomadic. We currently live in Okinawa, Japan.
